Meet Josh Ferguson - Assistant Principal

Meet our new Assistant Principal, Josh Ferguson!

Ferguson earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Lincoln University, a master’s in education from Columbia College, and an educational specialist degree in K-12 leadership from Northwest Missouri State University.

Mr. Ferguson joined the Jefferson City School District as a second grade teacher at Cedar Hill Elementary in 2023. He previously worked for the Jefferson City Area YMCA as the assistant school-age childcare director from 2017-2021 and as the senior site director from 2013-2017. While at the YMCA he developed and implemented curriculum for the before and after school care program, oversaw over 60 employees, and managed nursery operations and children’s centers at three facilities.
